And You Thought The Other Posts Were Sweet

Top to bottom: a message from Yasu (no idea where she sourced my baby picture on the right), home-made granola by Naho pottery sensei taught by moi, three support messages from two colleagues and my mama after the awful ordeal with the Board of Education, a funny comment on my Instagram from mum, Yasu and her mother’s breakfast this morning and last, my breakfast: peach and banana smoothie bowl with homemade granola. Simply blend 1 banana, flesh of one peach, 1/4 cup of almond milk and a pinch of cinnamon.

Just as I’ve often said, there is always two sides to a thing. The world is not black and white. It’s in between. Sometimes gloomy grey. Sometimes sparkling silver. Living and working here on my own hasn’t been easy but the love and support I have received from my friends and family has continuously revived me. The end is near and much like matcha ice-cream it’s bittersweet.
