MY Kind Of ‘Food Porn’

Being a food blogger is easy: you just eat food and photograph it.

From top to bottom: my goods in my kitchen, power slaw using soft-dried blackcurrants in place of raisins, an incredible spread of home-made bread, fresh fruit (sweet lemon, strawberries and blood orange), onigiri and a simple sweet potato and black sesame seed medley, homemade green tea, the organic plate from nonocafe and last but not least, their yellow kiwi-fruit cheesecake.

Though even so, for some reason, y’all still follow… So, arigato, arigato and chuuu xx

  1. You don’t need a major goal for your blog. That’s for people who think they are going to make money from blogging or run a business from it. Yours is a personal blog, so it should just reflect you as a person, which seems to be exactly what it does. So there. You have a goal after all.

  2. I don’t know if you need a theme, but then again, I’ve been blogging for about 11 years (sporadically the last 2 years). I’ve never wanted to make money from my blog b/c then it would be work! I’d have to find another hobby…..which is what has happened in a way b/c I’m writing a book (that’s why the blog has been so spotty the last couple of years). Still, it has been a really good outlet for me, and I don’t think I would’ve ever started the book without all the experience in blogging. :) Love the food pictures – wish I knew what foods they were. Happy Fasting!

    1. I will add what the foods are now… :) So please go back and check. Thank you for your comment. I wouldn’t mind making money from my blog.. I think it’d be most wonderful to do what you love for a living! Isn’t that the dream? I am also writing a book :) And I agree, blogging has helped improve my writing but also, it’s proving problematic as I sometimes find myself writing my novel in blogging-style. I don’t know if that makes sense or not..
